What You’ll Learn

Learning Objectives

ACE Provider Information

This asynchronous PDU course prepares Registered Behavior Technicians® to implement behavior-reduction plans with fidelity while maintaining client dignity and ethical standards. Through realistic case examples, RBTs learn how to reduce challenging behavior by consistently applying supervisor-designed plans, teaching and reinforcing replacement skills, supporting generalization across settings, and documenting progress accurately. Emphasis is placed on scope of practice, ethics, and collaboration with the supervising BCBA.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to define behavior reduction within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a systematic process that combines decreasing challenging behavior with the instruction of functional replacement skills. Participants will demonstrate the ability to implement behavior-reduction procedures with fidelity while maintaining client dignity, safety, and ethical standards, and will clearly identify the RBT®’s scope of practice in both behavior-reduction and generalization efforts. Additionally, participants will collect and report objective, measurable data related to behavior reduction and skill acquisition across settings, and recognize common barriers to generalization, communicating relevant observations effectively to the supervising BCBA® in alignment with BACB® guidelines and best practices.

Happy Clients Say!

“Straightforward and actually useful.”

I’ve taken a lot of CEUs that feel repetitive. These were clear, practical, and easy to follow. I liked that the scenarios felt realistic instead of overly scripted.

“Good balance of ethics and real-world examples.”

The PDUs didn’t just restate the ethics code they explained how it actually applies during sessions. I walked away feeling more confident in my decisions at work.

“Easy to complete between sessions.”

I appreciated how flexible these courses were. I could pause and come back without losing my place, and the content stayed relevant the whole time.

“Clear, professional, and up to date.”

The material felt current and well thought out. It didn’t feel rushed or outdated like some CEUs I’ve taken elsewhere.
