Description


We're looking for a compassionate, dedicated Behavior Technician to support a student in a school setting. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll help deliver high-quality ABA therapy to a child with autism or other developmental needs, directly within the classroom environment.


  • Carry out behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Provide direct 1:1 or small-group classroom support
  • Help the student stay engaged and participate appropriately in class activities
  • Collect and document data on the student's progress
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff about progress and treatment plans
  • Keep documentation accurate, thorough, and up to date
  • School Hours: 8:05 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
  • Support Hours Needed: 2 hours per school day (flexible)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow directives and carry out behavior plans as written
  • Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)
