Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one, home-based ABA therapy to children with autism in Glendale, NY. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect therapy session data, participate in ongoing ABA training, and communicate regularly with supervisory staff.

Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience working with children or individuals with developmental needs.
Skills
  • Strong communication, data collection, behavior intervention, one-on-one therapy, and teamwork skills with the ability to follow BCBA-directed treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or currently pursuing relevant undergraduate education
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to accurately collect and document therapy session data
  • Weekday and weekend availability
  • Ability to provide services in clients’ homes
